As an Associate Software Engineer – Cyber Security, you’ll get real-time exposure to industry-leading security practices, tools, and training. You’ll work alongside some of the best minds in the cybersecurity domain to safeguard enterprise systems, perform penetration testing, and contribute to building secure digital solutions.
Position Description:
This is a full-time fresher role designed for recent graduates with a specialization in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field. You’ll play a vital role in securing systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and learning how to combat real-world threats in enterprise environments.
Job Summary:
As part of the security team, you’ll work on live cybersecurity projects that involve:
- Vulnerability Assessments
- Security Testing (VAPT)
- Log Analysis
- Incident Management
- Documentation of security procedures
You will be mentored by senior security professionals and will gain hands-on training with leading cybersecurity tools and frameworks. This role is ideal for those who enjoy problem-solving, ethical hacking, and staying one step ahead of cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web/mobile applications
- Assist in security monitoring, log analysis, and incident response
- Contribute to security documentation, including policy creation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to identify and address security risks
- Keep pace with new threats, attack vectors, and cybersecurity best practices
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong foundation in Networking, Encryption, Firewalls, and Authentication
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
- Hands-on exposure to VAPT tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
- Familiarity with Linux OS and terminal commands
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Genuine passion for cybersecurity and ethical hacking
Preferred Certifications (Optional but highly valued):
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+
- Any recognized course in cyber forensics, threat intelligence, or ethical hacking
Eligibility Criteria:
- BE/BTech graduates – 2024 or 2025 pass-outs
- Specialization in Cybersecurity / Information Security / Network Security
- Minimum 60% marks throughout academics
- Relevant academic projects or internships in the field of cybersecurity will be a plus
